This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made with East Indies Rosewood.

Medium sized, it is suited for a 240 Japanese knives. It’s a nice light handle.

Handle is sanded to 800 grit then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Handwash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
