24"X24"X.75" Alien Eyes Ice Dye Tie Dye on a Square Panel of Calcutta Cotton, that was ice dyed with Procion dyes. A healthy amount of soda ash was placed on top of the ice, so that the dye would find its place prior to the soda ash activating it. Similar to the Pariah Method. More concentrated soda ash/water mixture was also applied after all of the ice melted (Pariah style). The cotton was then stretched and stapled onto 24"X24" Stretcher Bars. Gorilla Glue was placed around every staple for added durability. Signed by None Other than Dave 😁 then 2 isolation coats of Golden Acrylic Soft Gell Gloss brushed on, followed by 2 coats of Liquitex Acrylic Varnish Gloss.
